Who moved my cheese? Leicester Blog

September 5, 2017

Even with the holiday season in full swing, there was no shortage of interesting and diverse talent in the room. “The pen is mightier than the sword” seemed to be the order of the day with authors, linguists and coaches (among others) in the mix.Having been refreshed with a delicious fish supper it was down to business: Prayer!

It was time to be challenged with the ubiquitous Marc Ford as our “Disruptive Business Coach” - and he wasn’t sorry about it! Educated directly in the school of hard knocks Marc enthralled us with his life changing events and courageous responses. From supermarket manager to driving instructor, life found real meaning through helping others while working on himself. With an MBA to boot, we got 7 great tips to live by. Live with purpose, and remember life is not a piece of cheese.

The lovely Sally-Anne captivated us with her faith, and trust in the Lord. From many trials and tribulations, she is the epitome of following Jesus through thick, and thin.

Sally-Anne has changed her story to one of triumph over adversity. A renowned author from her love of writing, and from practicing what she preaches. A property investor, B&B owner, and shining example of a ‘can-do’ attitude. “Never give up, you’re never too old, and The Lord really loves you”. Words to live by.
