We spent another great evening at Training Kings Leicester on 28th February 2017 with each attendee commenting on how much they took away from the event.
Returning to Forest Hill Golf Club we had both returning attendees and some new faces, which was awesome. There was a real mix of businesses and experience in the room which led to lively conversations and it was evident that friendships were being formed even at this early stage of the Leicester branch.
During the 60 second introductions it was great to hear that attendees had come not only for business but some for their own personal development and some for the fellowship. This month’s inspiring presentations were by Samuel Leeds, founder of Training Kings and Leicester host and performance coach, Simone Bell.
Samuel encouraged us to ‘Consider the Ant’ and gave a descriptive presentation about the ant’s characteristics and how we can learn from them and gain wisdom;
- Ants never quit
- Ants think ahead
- Ants work together
Simone then reminded the group about the importance of being a good steward of their time and taught on how to overcome procrastination and move from where you are to where you want to be.
It was another great evening spent networking, inspiring and encouraging one another in beautiful surroundings – roll on 21st March!
