Why I became a Training Kings Leader

April 29, 2016

So this blog is going to be a bit ‘Front to Back’. (Where I am now and where did I come from)

I am Tony Feasey, I live in Bristol and I am passionate about three things. Firstly about my faith and I am member of The Salvation Army in the town where I live, secondly about my own business as a Utility Warehouse Discount Club Distributor and thirdly about business networking.

But for me all three work as one, each is I hope expressed in the other and is just where I believe God has placed me right now. I am incredibly excited about launching the new Training Kings Networking Group in Bristol on June 8th. It will bring together all the different facets of my business life in to one place and meeting and sharing with others who share my values and faith is really important to me.

I fully expect that by networking in this way my faith and that of others will be built, our networks will be expanded and our own business interests will grow. I hope as many of you as possible will join me on this journey.

So that sounds like a cue for the ‘back story’ – I have been around the church since age of three when invited by our next door neighbours. Sunday school, young people programme etc and then a crisis of faith at aged 18 which concluded with me committing to becoming a Salvation Army Officer. This was my path until ill health in the family dictated a change of direction to the charity world. Work and family circumstances changed over the next few years and I drifted away from the church.

Just three years ago I found myself in the East End of London on my knees renewing my faith and since that day God has really not stopped opening doors for me and my new wife Emily. Renewed faith was the first miracle, Emily was the second, then rediscovering my dormant business was the third.

God has blessed every part of my family and business life. Networking has become a vital part of business through groups such as BNI and 4Networking. The encouragement of other business leaders is vital if you are to keep moving forward developing yourself and your business. Its not an add on when you have time, it is fundamental to your business growth keeping your pipeline of contacts and prospects coming.

So that’s the ‘Front to back’ of where I am now and where I came from – I hope that you might think about helping the next forward chapter along with many others who will be joining us for business and fellowship.
